Creative Campaign: Research Conference
In 2019, I worked with the University of Calgary’s School of Architecture, Planning, & Landscape (formerly the Faculty of Environmental Design) to develop a creative campaign for their annual research conference. Working within institutional and faculty graphic guidelines, we wanted to create a campaign that was both eye-catching for potential attendees, but to adhere to the overall look of the Environmental Design faculty for cohesiveness. University events often have many other concurrent events to compete with, so I wanted this campaign to really stand out.
Utilizing the faculty’s color scheme of orange and yellow, I created assets that contrasted the geometric shapes of architecture with the unpredictability of paint blobs and running watercolors.
I also created some fun promotional items for students & staff around the Environmental Design campus to find, as well as gifts for all the speakers at the event.
